Jacopo Bassetto

Jacopo Bassetto is Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Statistics of the University of Bologna and Senior Researcher at the Institute for Employment Research.

He received his PhD from the University of Trento and the University of Bamberg, supervised by Prof.  Silke Anger (IAB and University of Bamberg) and Prof. Enrico Rettore (University of Padua). 

His main fields are economics of migration and economics of education. His current research focuses on the evaluation of policies for the mobility and integration of high-skilled migrants, and on the evaluation of school-based projects on students’ performance and educational choices.
