Professor Daniela Grunow

Daniela Grunow is Professor of Sociology specializing in quantitative analyses of social change at the Faculty of Social Science of the Goethe University in Frankfurt. Her research and academic activities focus on the interaction between labour market, household chores and gender relations in different welfare states from a life course perspective. Daniela Grunow is currently analysing the introduction of family-friendly workplace measures and their impact on the employees’ career paths, in cooperation with the Research Data Centre of the IAB in Nuremberg. She is a publisher of the Kölner Zeitschrift für Soziologie und Sozialpsychologie journal, together with Thomas Schwinn (Heidelberg University) and Michael Wagner (University of Cologne). Daniela Grunow is also a member of the Goethe Fellowship Program for the support of top-level university research in the area of humanities and social sciences at the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften in Bad Homburg.
