Dr Diego d´Andria

Diego d’Andria is an economic researcher with expertise in public finance, taxation and innovation policy. He studied Economics and Business Administration at the “Federico II” University of Naples (Italy), is Certified Public Accountant in Italy since 2008 and obtained his Ph.D. in Economics in 2016 from the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena. He has worked for several years as professional tax & business consultant to private firms and as university lecturer. Between 2015 and 2020 he was research fellow at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre in Seville (Spain) where he contributed to the impact assessment of flagship policy initiatives of the Commission related to the taxation of multinational companies and digital services. Since December 2020 he is research assistant at the IAB as part of the research group “Basic Income Support and the Labour Market”.
