Dr. Andrea Kargus

Andrea Kargus studied business economics at the University of Cologne (main fields of study: banking management, procurement and product policy, economic and social history) undertaking an editorial internship at the “Remscheider General-Anzeiger”. Dr Kargus received her doctorate in 2000 (Dr. rer. pol.). At the “Remscheider General-Anzeiger” she was initially head of the department for special publications, then editor for cultural topics and finally, as of 2001, Deputy Editor in Chief. Dr Kargus has been Head of the Scientific Media and Communication Strategies Service Department of IAB since May 2008.
